#GES AMI packets/work are coming home with your students today. This is in preparation for any future AMI days. Your student's teacher will communicate expectations for these days.
Just a reminder that any changes for school closings, early releases etc. will be posted via all social media, notification and text service as well as our "rooms" communication portals. If you do not have our app, now would be a good time to do that!

#GES While you're out shopping for the holidays, don't forget to scan your receipts (no more clipping)! Download the BoxTop app, add Greenland Elementary, and scan! There is also a way to submit digital receipts! And each week in November, one lucky scanner will win 5,000 Bonus Box Tops for their school — and the week of Giving Tuesday, Box Tops will DOUBLE the prize to 10,000 Bonus Box Tops! Plus, Box Tops will match each prize and give it to a school in need. We currently have 92 Box Top supporters, if we can raise that to 100 or more, we'll start using the grade level leaderboards and maybe even start a friendly competition! Happy scanning!

Our cafeteria staff provides delicious meals for everyone here in Pirate Nation. Middle school and high school students self-serve at the fruit, veggie, and salad bar and can even go back for more! We also serve supper every afternoon 3:15-4:15 in the high school. Supper is free to students. #GES reminder - If your child is missing something, please come by and go through our Lost and Found. We ask if you come to look that you come between 9am-11am or 1pm-2pm. We encourage you to write your child's name in their coats, sweatshirts, etc. to help if things get lost. Any items not claimed by Friday, November 11th, will be donated. Thank you!
